JOMO 2026 Texas Trip
TORCH Dallas was glad to be part of the JOMO Texas Trip in April, a celebration for students of Chedvas Bais Yaakov High School in Lakewood who have spent the year committed to a more intentional relationship with technology. JOMO, which stands for the Joy of Missing Out, is a school-based initiative that guides young women toward using technology responsibly, with an emphasis on awareness, accountability, and the values that make those choices meaningful.

Shabbos Project in Dallas
This past March 2026, TORCH Dallas hosted a Shabbos Project, welcoming teens into Dallas homes for a Shabbos built around real connection, good food, and an atmosphere that makes Shabbos feel like something worth looking forward to. The experience draws on a model that has been running nationally for over a decade, giving young people a taste of Shabbos that goes beyond obligation and into something genuinely meaningful. We're grateful to the Dallas families who opened their homes and to everyone who helped make it possible.

Hannah's House Finds a New Home
Hannah's House, a Dallas organization that provides supervised visitation and neutral exchange services for children navigating custody transitions, has joined the TORCH Dallas family. TORCH Dallas is honored to provide the organizational support that allows this work to continue, because caring for children and families is inseparable from the values at the heart of everything we do.
