Participation in this raffle is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, board members, and immediate family members of Congregation Ateres Israel or TORCH Dallas are not eligible to participate. By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to comply with these official rules and affirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.
The raffle will begin on May 7, 2025, and ticket sales will close at 11:59 PM Central Time on May 28, 2025. The drawing will be conducted on May 29, 2025.
Tickets for the raffle may be purchased at the following rates:

Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the raffle. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and will only be valid for the drawing date specified. No physical ticket will be issued; instead, entrants will receive confirmation via email following their purchase.

One (1) winner will receive a $10,000 Visa Gift Card. The prize is valued at $10,000. No cash alternative or prize substitution will be offered, and the prize is non-transferable. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The winning ticket will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Congregation Ateres Israel on May 29, 2025. The winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Attempts will be made to contact the winner by email and/or phone. If the winner cannot be reached within fourteen (14) days of the drawing, or fails to claim the prize within thirty (30) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.
The winner’s name may be publicly announced on torchdallas.net and/or on social media platforms, subject to the winner’s consent.
The winner must claim the prize within thirty (30) days of notification. Instructions for claiming the prize will be provided at the time of notification. Failure to claim the prize within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
This raffle is being conducted in accordance with the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act (Chapter 2002, Texas Occupations Code). Congregation Ateres Israel is a qualified organization permitted to conduct this raffle. This raffle is void where prohibited by law.
Entrants understand and agree that they are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By entering, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless Congregation Ateres Israel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the raffle or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.
Congregation Ateres Israel is not responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation, or technical malfunctions that may affect participation or the administration of the raffle. In the event that the operation or integrity of the raffle is compromised by an event beyond the control of Congregation Ateres Israel, Congregation Ateres Israel reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the raffle.
Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the raffle and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law. By entering the raffle, participants consent to the use of their personal information as described in these terms.
